I first discovered Orgonomy / Reichian therapy in 1973 when this work was rather newly emerging on the West Coast.
I was profoundly impressed and moved by it. The honest and engaged nature of the “talk therapy”, combined with a systematic way to work with the body, made all the sense in the world to me. I had majored in Psychology with a minor in Theater and a background in dance, and wanted to find a lively way to work with how we talk and literally move in life.
These interests led me to study Nursing and obtain an RN degree. I have worked as a nurse for over 30 years. My nursing training and career facilitated my return to Orgonomy, with newfound knowledge of medical issues including the effects of stress on the mind/body. Nursing also offered me the opportunity to work with diverse patients with a variety of psychological and somatic problems. My passion for Reichian therapy lived on in me, and in 2003 I found Dr. Patricia Frisch who directs the Orgonomic Institute of Northern California.
2007-2022:
Studied Orgonomy at Orgonomic Institute of Northern California in Dr. Frisch’s method, receiving my Accreditation as Orgonomist in 2011.
My involvement with the Orgonomic Institute of Northern California is ongoing.
2010:
Co-founded San Marin Psychotherapy in Novato, CA. It is the first collective Orgonomic group practice in Northern California. My private practice has been located there since that time.
2016:

2004-2020:

-Also offered Grief support to individuals and families and a Grief support group.
2002-2005:
Studied Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy with graduation and certification as Registered Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist. I maintain my credentialing by the BCTA/NA
1973-1977:
Studied Orgonomy with Dr. Philip Curcuruto through Westwood College. As part of my study during these four years, I was mentored by Dr. Curcuruto in private Reichian therapy practice, working with individuals and leading groups and workshops.
I bring more than 10 years graduate level training, supervision and practice in psychological counseling, Reichian therapy, and Dr. Frisch’s Method. In addition, my medical expertise gives me a unique skill set to help a variety of individuals, couples, and families with a wide range of problems. My background provides me deep understanding of the mind/body interface which is now well-acknowledged. In both my private practice and my nursing career, it is a privilege to be involved with patients/clients working for change and healing.
